1. The ₹915 Crore Mega Deal: This 18-coach train is the first batch of a 200-coach export order valued at USD 111.26 Million (~₹915 Crore). Funded by the European Investment Bank (EIB), RITES won this contract through global competitive bidding.
2. First Rake Configuration: The dispatched 18-coach train comprises 11 Non-AC Chair Cars, 3 AC Chair Cars, 2 AC Sleeper Coaches, and 2 Power Generator Cars painted in Bangladesh's green-and-red national livery.
3. Unique Engineering Upgrades: Unlike Indian trains that run on 750V, these coaches are customized for Bangladesh’s 415V EOG System(Power car or Generator Car) they comply with European crash-safety norms (EN 15227) and feature extra-strong reinforced roofs to safely handle festive roof-top rush.
4. Cultural & Modern Amenities: Keeping local traditions in mind, the train includes dedicated Prayer Rooms and Baby Care Rooms, along with reclining seats, CCTV cameras, ceiling fans in AC coaches, and bio-vacuum toilets.
